November is full of things that matter.
In November there’s fun days for the united way, the black action class lawsuit, domestic and court family violence awareness month, the impending US election, amongst others.
Some of these pieces and thoughts I was quite hesitant to share in the past, but other artists, my faith, and children have since taught me that being silent doesn’t help create real change.
Some of these were featured in places like the Kirshner’s art gallery, but the ones and things I value the most, are the ones that are made with or with the inspiration of children and other young people. I also value other artists (like Gibril) that believe in children and their ability to impact the world.
Kids and young people may be loud, but they are honest and smarter than they often are credited; they are the future makers and world changers.
