In memory of Grandma Celine- An angel. TB. February. 3/24

In 2017 the world lost, but God gained an angel. 

I think of this woman often. She passed away when I was pregnant with my first, but before she did, she rubbed my tummy and told me: This child is going to be so special and blessed. 

Her passing was in February and Stella was born in April. I (along with my ex-husbands approval) decided to name both of my kids second middle names after her “Celine”

I sit here years later and realize she wasn’t wrong- Stella really is a blessing. 

I don’t have many pictures of her but one of my favorite is also of my nephew in law and I napping in her house, it was such a peaceful welcoming space (heart on his face out of respect for him and his parents privacy).

I’m grateful for the light she passed along to everyone and anyone she met & I hope my kids can follow her example.
