Learning ASL- I’m forever inspired by people like @lasha_fine_art for raising awareness and using her experience to help and educate others. Throwback to being apart of her vision, and receiving the most beautiful priceless gift from her exhibit.🤎

Blog notes:

Learning from others to communicate in different ways, not only helps us, but can even save lives:

Today, December 5th on the @canadianwomensfoundation 16 Days of Activism calendar- draws attention to ASL saving lives by offering a mini course called “signal for help.”

I could write a novel on the respect I have for Lasha and her experiences, but this book she created (with her lovely husband) shows how intentional she really is. The imagery really helps the dynamic range of all learning. All ages can learn ASL- even babies!

Be sure to catch her next upcoming event:

“Come one, come all to a festive and fun gathering for anyone interested in ASL! Whether you’re fluent, just starting to learn, or simply curious about signing, this event is for you.”

📅 When: Sat, December 14th

🕛 Time: 1pm to 3pm

📍 Where: Pocket Heart Café, Downtown Fort McMurray
